Maple Leaf Sliced Steak 1.5 kg 3.3 Lbs
Red Peppers, Fresh, sliced 200 g 7 oz
Green Peppers, Fresh, sliced 200 g 7 oz
Onions, Fresh, sliced 200 g 7 oz
Mushrooms, Fresh, sliced 400 mL 1.7 cups
Beef Gravy, prepared 500 mL 2.1 cups
BBQ Sauce 240 ml 1 cup
Vegetable Oil 15 mL 1 Tbsp

Method

  • 1. Heat a large pot on the stove with the oil, saute the onions and peppers until just tender. Set aside to finish the dish. In a large pan, combine vegetables, shaved steak, gravy and BBQ sauce. Toss gently.
  • 2. In a large pan, combine vegetables, shaved steak, gravy and BBQ sauce. Toss gently. Cover pan(s) with foil and bake in a preheated 350 F oven for 45 minutes or until the vegetables are tender, heating the beef to an internal temperature of 165 F (74 C).

Suggested Accompaniments

Garnish with finely chopped herbs, like parsley.

Serve with a mashed or roasted potatoes.
