Meatloaf Sandwich with Swiss Cheese

Onions, Carmelized (with oil) 425 g 14.9 oz
Bread, French Bread 3.125 kg (50 Thick slices) 6.9 lbs (50 Thick slices)
Tomato, Sliced 750 g 1.6 lbs
Swiss Cheese 25 slices 25 slices
Beef Gravy, Low-Sodium, Prepared 750 ml 3.2 cups

Method

  • 1. Defrost Individual Meatloaf portions under refrigeration 40°F (4°C).
  • 2. Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C).
  • 3. Prepare caramelized onions in advance and cool.
  • 4. Arrange meatloaf on two baking sheets. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until 165°F (74°C).
  • 5. On single slices of toast, arrange 1 meatloaf slice, 1/4 cup (60 ml) onions, one slice tomato, 1 slice of swiss cheese. Top with 1 tbsp (15 ml) gravy and second slice of bread. Serve immediately.

Suggested Accompaniments

Serve with a side cucumber salad.
