Roast Beef Au Jus and Roasted Garlic Dip Sandwich

Maple Leaf Sure Slice Roast Beef 1.25 Kg 2.75 lbs
Beef "Au Jus" 1 L 4.2 cups
Hoagie-type Buns or French Stick 25 each 25 each
Mayonnaise ( low fat or light) 200 ml 6.8 Fl oz
Garlic Roasted 60 ml 2 Fl oz
Cheese, Mozzarella, Shredded 750 ml 3.2 cups

Method

  • 1. Preheat oven to 177° C ( 350° F).
  • 2. In a large pot, heat Maple Leaf Sure Slice Roast Beef in beef au jus to an internal temperature of 74° C ( 165° F).
  • 3. Slice rolls and place on baking sheets. Bake 2-3 minutes or until golden brown.
  • 4. Spread each bottom half of bun with 10 ml ( 2 tsp) garlic mayonnaise and place 50 g ( 1.75 oz) beef on top.
  • 5. Top with 25 ml ( 2 tbsp) cheese and top of roll. Cut in half and serve immediately.

Suggested Accompaniments

Garnish with side bowl of Au Jus.

Serve with cheesy mashed potatoes.
