Thick Carved Roast Beef, Sliced 1.5 kg 3.3 lbs
Onions, Sliced 1.6 L 6.8 cups
Hickory BBQ Sauce 125 ml 4.2 Fl oz
Maple Syrup 125 ml 4.2 Fl oz
Club House Spicy Mesquite Dry Seasoning 25 g 0.9 oz
Hellman's Light Mayonnaise 125 ml 4.2 Fl oz
Kaiser Buns, Sliced in Half 25 Each 25 Each
Cheddar Cheese 1 L 4.4 cups
Lettuce, Shredded 1.6 L 6.8 cups


  • 1. Preheat oven to 177°C (350°F).
  • 2. Heat beef for 20-25 minutes, until internal temperature of 60°C (140°C).
  • 3. In large skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add onions. Sauté for 5-8 minutes or until onions are browned.
  • 4. Combine BBQ sauce, maple syrup, seasoning, and mayonnaise. Stir to mix thoroughly.
  • 5. Spread 10 ml (1 tsp) sauce on each side of Kaiser bun.
  • 6. On bottom half of bun, place 60 g (2 oz) beef and 60 ml (1/4 cup) each onion, cheddar cheese, and lettuce. Top with lid of bun. Serve immediately.

Suggested Accompaniments

Garnish with sliced tomato.

Serve with 125 ml (1/2 cup) macaroni salad.
