Italian Griller Pasta

Country Sausage 2 Kg 4.4 Lbs
Penne Noodles, Dry 925 g 2 Lbs
Water 1.8 L 7.6 cups
Red Onions, Fresh, Sliced 125 g 4.4 oz
Red Peppers, Fresh, Sliced 125 g 4.4 oz
Garlic, Fresh, Minced 25 g 0.9 oz
Olive Oil 200 mL 6.8 Fl oz
Parsley, Chopped 150 mL 5.1 Fl oz
Salt 3 mL 1/2 tsp
Parmesan Cheese 250 mL 8.5 Fl oz


  • 1. Heat country sausages and cut into slices, set aside. Boil water and add penne, cook to al dente or until just done, also set aside.
  • 2. In a large preheated pot, add olive oil and gentle saute red onions, red peppers and garlic until tender. Add country sausage, cooked penne and salt. Toss until combined and hot.
  • 3. Finish dish with parsley just before serving. Garnish with parmesan cheese, either in the dish itself or on top prior to service (garnish is included in the nutritional analysis below)

Suggested Accompaniments

Serve with crusty Italian bread and a Caesar side salad.
