Orchard Onion Sausage and Sauerkraut

Maple Leaf Cooked Country Pork Sausage 45 Each 45 Each
Apples, fresh, sliced 225 g 7.9 oz
Onions, fresh, sliced 225 g 7.9 oz
Sauerkraut 1.6 L 6.8 cups


  • 1. Slice country sausage into bite size pieces. Combine with apples and onions, and stir into the sauerkraut. Add mixture to 2" deep hotel pans.
  • 2. Place hotel pans in a pre-heated 350 F (175 C) oven and bake for 45 minutes or until onions and apples are tender.
  • 3. Serve over accompaniment dishes or to the side.

Suggested Accompaniments

Garnish with freshly chopped parsley or finely diced apples (not included in the nutritional analysis).

Serve with boiled potatoes and green beans.
