Pasta Rose Meatballs

Maple Leaf, Cooked, Frozen Meatballs 1.75 kg 3.9 lbs
Vegetable oil 15 ml 1 tbsp
Onions, chopped 225 g 7.9 oz
Celery, chopped 225 g 7.9 oz
Carrots, diced 207 g 7.9 oz
Marinara sauce 1 L 4.2 cups
White sauce or alfredo sauce, prepared 1 L 4.2 cups
Peas, frozen. thawed 1 kg 2.2 lbs
Cut pasta, whole wheat, cooked as directed, drained 3 kg 6.6 lbs
Parmesan Cheese, grated 45 ml 3 tbsp


  • 1. Place Maple Leaf Meatballs in 2 steam table pans. Cover and thaw in refrigerator.
  • 2. Heat oil in large pan. Sauté onions, celery and carrots in heated oil, 5-7 minutes or until tender.
  • 3. Sprinkle over meatballs.
  • 4. Combine Marinara and white sauces and pour over meatballs. (half per pan)
  • 5. Stir in peas and cooked pasta. (half per pan)
  • 6. Cover and bake in 350°F (180°C) oven 55-60 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 170°F (75°C).

Suggested Accompaniments

Garnish with Parmesan cheese.

Serve with cooked rice, pasta, egg noodles or mashed potatoes and a colourful vegetable.
