Peppercorn Beef Sandwich

Maple Leaf Sure Slice Roast Beef 1.5 Kg 3.3 lbs
Whole Wheat Bread 50 slices 50 slices
Olive Oil 60 ml 0.26 cup
Red Peppers, Frozen, Chopped 1.5 L 6.3 cups
Peppercorn Gravy, Preppared, Hot 1.25 L 5.3 cups


  • 1. Toast bread. Arrange half of the slices on baking sheets.
  • 2. In large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat for 2 minutes. Add red peppers and sauté for 4 to 6 minutes or until fork tender.
  • 3. On each slice of toast, place 60 g ( 2.1 oz) of maple Leaf Sure Slice Roast Beef, 50 ml ( 4 tbsp) red peppers and second slice of toast. Pour 25 ml ( 2 tbs) gravy over sandwich and serve.

Suggested Accompaniments

Garnish with Bread and Butter Pickles.

Serve with side coleslaw.
