Onions, Carmelized 750 g 1.7 lbs
Potatoes, Peeled, Raw 2.5 Kg 5.5 lbs
Margarine, Soft 125 ml 4.2 fl oz
Salt 5 ml 1 tsp
Milk, 2% 200 ml 6.8 fl oz
Poultry Gravy 1.125 L 4.8 cups

Method

  1. Prepare the mashed potatoes by boiling the potatoes until cooked. Whip together with milk, margarine and salt. Cook turkey sausage to an internal temperature of 165 F (60 C).
  2. Assemble the plate with 117 gm (4 oz) scoop of mashed potatoes, place 3 link sausages to the side and cover with 30 g (1 oz) of carmelized onions.
  3. Finish with 45 ml (1.5 fl oz) of poultry gravy poured over the top of the dish.
  4. Garnish with finely chopped, fresh herbs (not included in nutritional analysis).
