| Red Bell Peppers, diced, frozen | 230 g | 8.1 oz |

| Green Onions, chopped | 170 g | 6 oz |
| Hoisin Sauce (prepared) | 250 mL | 8.5 Fl oz |
| Plum Sauce (prepared) | 150 mL | 5 Fl oz |
| Water | 100 mL | 3.5 Fl oz |
| Black Pepper | 20 mL | 4 tsp |
Method
- Ensure that the sirloin steak strips are defrosted fully.
- In a large pot over medium heat, add the oil and saute the onions and red bell peppers for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the remaining ingredients to the pan - steak strips, green onions, hoisin sauce, plum sauce, water and black pepper. Stir fry the mixture, stirring occasionally for another 5-7 minutes.
- Ensure that the stir fry mixture reaches an internal temperature of 165 F (74 C). Serve hot.
Suggested Accompaniments
Garnish with finely chopped herbs. Serve with rice and green beans (nutritional analysis not included).
