Garlic Powder 15 mL 1 Tbsp
Oregano, ground 30 mL 2 Tbsp

Breadcrumbs 710 mL 3 Cups
Salt 10 mL 2 tsp
Black Pepper, ground 5 mL 1 tsp
Parmesan Cheese 175 mL 3/4 Cups


  1. Create a breading station:(i) In a shallow hotel pan; add flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder and paprika. Mix to combine(ii) In a stainless steel bowl, add eggs and whisk lightly.(iii) In another shallow hotel pan; add breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese and oregano.
  2. Pat dry thawed chicken. Dredge through each station, shaking off the access before moving on to the next station. Place breaded chicken onto a parchment lined sheet pan.
  3. Bake in a preheated 350 F (175 C) oven for 25 minutes. Turn drums over gently to keep the breading intact. Bake for another 20 minutes. Chicken is cooked when it reaches an internal temperature of 165 F (74 C).

Suggested Accompaniments

A tomato dipping sauce could accompany the chicken. Serve with brown rice and seasonal side vegetables (not included in the nutritional analysis).
