Pineapple Curry Meatballs

Maple Leaf, Cooked, Frozen Meatballs 1.75 kg 3.9 lbs
Beef gravy, prepared from mix, low sodium 1 l 4.2 cups
Pineapple Curry Sauce 500 ml 2.1 cups
Pineapple, cubed, drained 800 ml 3.4 cups
Coriander, chopped 30 ml 2 tbsp

Method

  • 1. Place Maple Leaf Meatballs in steam table pan. Cover and thaw in refrigerator.
  • 2. Prepare beef gravy mix according to package directions.
  • 3. Add Pineapple Curry sauce to gravy. Stir well.
  • 4. Pour gravy mixture over meatballs. Stir in pineapple.
  • 5. Cover and bake in 350°F (180°C) oven 55-60 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 170°F (75°C). Note: May also be cooked on stove top.

Suggested Accompaniments

Garnish with coriander, chopped.
Serve with cooked rice, pasta, egg noodles or mashed potatoes and a colourful vegetable.
