Orchard Onion Pork Cutlet

Maple Leaf Pork Cutlet 25 Each 25 Each
Canola Oil 45 ml 1.5 fl oz
Onions, Bermuda or similar 1 L 4.2 cups
Apples, Fresh, Sliced 300 g 10.5 oz


  • 1. Add vegetable oil to a preheated pan or grill, when hot add the sliced onions and saute until starting to cook. Add finely sliced apples to the saute and continue to cook until tender and set aside.
  • 2. Lay out pork cutlets on a baking sheet that has been lightly greased. Bake breaded pork cutlets to an internal temperature of 165 F (60 C). On the cooked pork cutlet, add a layer of the onions and apples. Place back into the oven and heat until stack flavours begin to combine. Serve hot.
  • 3. Garnish with additional slices of apple or a condiment serving of applesauce. (not included in the nutritional analysis).

Suggested Accompaniments

Serve with a red cabbage and scalloped (creamy) potatoes (not included in the nutritional analysis).
