- Open hogie buns and toast on a hot grill or panned in a pre-heated oven.
- In a large skillet or on a grill, heat oil and add onions, red and green peppers. Saute until carmelized and soft add the pulled beef and combine until hot. Beef should reach a temperature of 160 F/70C.
- To build the sandwich, add a layer of the pulled beef and sauted vegetables. Top with a 28gm slice of provolone cheese and place on a baking sheet.
- Place sandwiches in a pre-heated oven and allow the cheese to fully melt into the pulled beef and sauted vegetables.
Slow cooked, tender pulled beef brisket. Serve with vegetable side salad or marinated salad like coleslaw and a mild creamy horseradish sauce to compliment the sandwich flavours.
