Method
- Defrost Country Sausage in the refrigerator overnight. Roll out a 40 gm square of puff pastry into a rectangular shape to fully enclose one sausage.
- On each piece of rolled out puff pastry, place 1 country sausage, 30 grams of cheddar cheese and 8 grams of green onions. Roll the puff pastry up to create a sealed puff pastry log with sausage and accompaniments inside.
- Place on a parchment lined baking sheet and put into a preheated 350 F (175 C) oven and bake until golden and internal temperature reaches 165 F (74 C)
Suggested Accompaniments
Garnish with finely chopped chives and sour cream. (not included in the nutritional analysis).
Serve with vegetable side salad or potato salad.
