- Defrost Shaved Steak in the refrigerator overnight. Cut hoagie bun in half (if not already cut), set aside.
- In a large preheated pan or on a grill, add the canola oil. Once oil is hot, add onions and mushrooms, toss until tender. Remove and set aside prior to building the sandwiches.
- In the same large pan or on grill, heat the shaved steak until hot.
- To build each sandwich: open the bun and place 50 gm of shaved steak and top with 15 gm of the grilled vegetables. Serve hot. Garnish with creamy mustard or beef dip (nutritional analysis not included).
Serve with corn chips or a fresh vegetable salad.
