Christmas is an annual festival commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ. It is observed primarily on December 25th as a religious and cultural celebration among billions around the world by Christians and non-Christians alike. Popular modern customs of the holiday include gift giving, completing an Advent calendar or an Advent wreath, exchanging Christmas cards, church services, a special meal and displaying various decorations including lights, boughs, wreaths, garlands, mistletoe and holly. Our celebrations this year will be much different than many of us are accustomed to. We will have to be apart in order to keep each other safe. We, at Maple Leaf, wish you and all your loved ones, staff and residents a safe and joyous holiday season!
